World Autism Day - April 2, 2020.

Thank you everyone for all of your support today celebrating our first World Autism Day in business!

We are learning a lot about running a business.  What we do know is how much we love viewing new art designs by youth and adults, with and without exceptionalities.   Tessa has taken over washing mugs and both girls are learning how to box, cut ribbon, and fill orders.  The busier the better for us!  We are making new friends and appreciate all the likes and positive comments we received on our Facebook page!

Our We All Fit Together merchandise was ready for our unveiling today and we were thrilled to wear from our Beyond the Label line.  We hope to have our other T-shirts ready very soon and recognize while it is important to us, there are currently so many more essential services needed.

While it is a very scary time, we are reminded of the importance of family, friends, and community.  Trying to keep a schedule, some sense of routine, and feeling productive is really important for everyone, let alone most individuals with exceptionalities.  Tessa is still asking every morning if "today is the day" she finally gets to go back to school.  I can't even imagine what the transition will be like when we finally get to return and it will be a day of celebration!  In the meantime, Tessa and Emma have been working on labelling a map of Canada and tonight we finished a novel study on Gary Paulson's book, Hatchet.  They loved it and we start The River tomorrow!

Please share photos drinking from a marvellous mug, holding up wonderful wallpaper or wearing a terrific T or hoodie.  We are really proud to help showcase the meaningful artwork these terrific artisans have created!

     Take care and stay safe,

     Monique
